Doors open at 4:00 for general dancing, spectators, and warm up for participants.
Our American Smooth and International Standard Show will begin at 4:45. Immediately following will be the American Rhythm and International Latin Show.
These two shows will consist of two different types of events. One is the freestyle and the other is the Solo Routine.
Freestyle - An event that includes one or more couples on the dance floor that are dancing a specific dance and a designated level of dance to randomly selected music.
Solo Routine - One couple dances a choreographed sequence of steps with and entrance and an ending to a chosen piece of music.
Showcase Dinner will start immediately following the dancing at 7:00. This year our dinner choices are Smoked Turkey or Smoked Salmon.
Showcase Saturday Night Party and Proshow. This will start at 8:00, right after dinner! It is our usual Saturday Night Party with a special twist. Some of the Melbourne Ballroom Staff will be performing for you at 8:45pm with dancing until 10:00pm.
